Challenging asylum destitution

Bake Sale and Bake Off in aid of ASSIST at the Red Deer on 1 September

What’s more fun than a bake sale? ……A friendly baking competition with prizes to be won of course!

It’s fundraising time, and in honour of the impending return of GBBO to our screens, the Red Deer are holding a bake off of their very own on Thurs 1 Sept, between 12 noon and closing time. Here’s what they say…

Cakes, biscuits, pastries, tarts, the sky and your imagination is the limit! Show off your skills, eat some cake, swap recipes, maybe win prizes and do good!

The bake sale will continue throughout the day, but if you want to be in with the chance of a prize, let us know and we will hold back a sample of your wares for the judges to taste in the evening. Simple!

If you’re not a baker, there are plenty more ways to get involved (including, but not restricted to, buying and eating cake)

We are supporting ASSIST Sheffield. Have a look around their website to find out more about their good work, or donate.

Help us raise some dough! (not sorry)
