STAR presents Refugee Rhythms

Our friends at Student Action for Refugees (STAR) are organising a gig in aid of ASSIST and Conversation Club…..Fri 13 Mar 15, 8:30 to 1:00, Yellow Arch Studios

Refugee Rhythms will feature….

  • Mango Rescue Team…‘Building quite the reputation for bringing the party (as well as inflatable palm trees) Mango Rescue-Team have been playing all the best venues across Sheffield and further afield for a while now, and we can’t wait to see them down at Yellow Arch.’
  • Cluster Funk…‘Sassy funk/soul/disco band, expect not being able to resist dancing, a sneaky Daft Punk cover and a good time’
  • Man Made…‘Having recently been Radio 6’s track of the week we’re thrilled to announce Man Made, who’re bringing sparkles and long hair for your eyes, with guitars and dreamy melodies for your ears.’
  • Ubuntu… ‘In their own words ‘“I am because we are.” Big swings, heavy dubs and fast skanking samba from Chesterfield.’ But from our point of view they’ve headlined the previous two Refugee Rhythms and we couldn’t be more pleased to have them back having killed it every time.’

£5 (Proceeds to ASSIST and Conversation Club)
